"A professional is someone who knows what they know, knows what they don't know, and knows the difference between the two."  ~ KW

My top priority is to always get you the right answer!

I would like to share a few of my most prize possessions; my thank you letters. The utmost contentment of my clients is my only satisfaction of a job well done. I look forward to being able to share a letter from you someday!

Dear Amy,

It is very difficult for me to articulate, on paper, the amount of appreciation we have for the work you did to help move us into our new home. As first time home buyers, we were very scared and very cynical that we'd never be able to have our own home. With three daughters, we knew stability and security would only be achieved with home ownership yet with many various obstacles (financial and other), it never seemed to move beyond our "dream". With your help, guidance, support, and know-how, you managed what we would have never been able to achieve on our own.

Amy, you've impacted this family in more ways then you will ever know. You helped us out of a less-than-optimum rental environment and made it possible for us to do things we never imagined (e.g. plant our own trees and garden, paint walls whatever color we choose, and just let out kids live). This Summer proved to be such a release for all of us..Kassie (6 years now) enjoyed her first birthday here - she swam in her pool, played in her backyard, tracked mud into the kitchen and had a wonderful time. Kelsey and Kaitlin have taken full advantage of inviting house loads of friends over and find themselves doing little things like sketching and painting on canvas in the backyard. The nights brought us all to a little pit-campfire in the backyard which brought us even closer as a family and enabled us to fully enjoy the niceties of having our own backyard (e.g. smores!) With the passing of Summer, we are loving the scents and sights that Fall is bringing...I can't imagine how we ever did without living in our own home!

We will never forget what you have done for us or the way you kept us informed every step of the home-buying way. You were honest with us 100% of the time and guided us in areas we knew nothing about. Without you and your buyer/seller knowledge, I know we would still be living in our little, cramped second floor apartment.

Thank you for everything, Amy!

The Bartley Family

(Pam, Jeff, Kaitlin, Kelsey, & Kassie)

P.S.

Feel free to share this letter with whomever you like. We also offer our phone number in the event that someone would like a reference.

To Whom It May Concern:

Amy Dixon is an outstanding businesswoman and friend. Her exemplary character is what stands out most in my mind. My father attended an open house he saw in the newspaper, where he met Amy. Shortly after, my fiance' and I stopped by the same open house based on his recommendation. At the time, we were not working with a particular realtor. After conversing with Amy, we were able to tell her more about ourselves and what we were looking for. Amy showed great initiative in her work and began informing us about other open houses she was hosting or listings she thought we might like. Amy's approach and consistency are in integral part of her success in business. She is open-minded, respectful, helpful, responsive and friendly. Clearly, many realtors care strictly about the sale. We never experienced this feeling with Amy. Her recommendations were on target with our needs and tastes and we never felt any pressure working with Amy. Amy went to many homes with us. She worked with us for months. Even when we had put offers on the table, if she sensed any hesitation she was the first person to tell us it was not too late to back out or that if were unsure we should not go through with the sale. Amy genuinely wants to see her clients happy. I know she finds her job most rewarding when she helps buyers find a home they love and can share that excitement with her even after the sale.

The Real Estate industry is not an easy area to work in; however, Amy Dixon is driven. Regardless of lulls or peaks in the market, Amy continues to succeed. Amy's dedication is second to none. We began the purchasing process of our first home while Amy was getting ready to take a family vacation to Florida. Amy arranged to have her colleague meet us at the home inspection and arranged for him to be available to us as a resource for questions and concerns. Amy, herself, made sure to call us on her vacation to ensure things were going as planned and that we were satisfied. There are many difficult people to deal with, critical deadlines to meet, and important decisions to make in this industry. I have seen  Amy achieve goals, make these difficult decisions, and challenge herself. Amy has a tremendous amount of tact and patience for diffusing difficult situations in order to keep her clients comfortable and happy.

Amy's knowledge, thoughtfulness, and devotion to her work did not end there. We were pleased to receive phone calls, cards and friendly reminders from Amy providing us with the occasional tip about our home, things to look out for, or just a friendly hello to see how we were doing. For example, if there is ever a weekend where we are supposed to see a tremendous amount of rainfall, I always hear Amy's voice on my answering machine reminding me to keep an eye on the basement. She follows through and provides assistance about issues that first-time homebuyers may not be thinking of on their own. Amy exceeded our expectations from the first day we met her and the bar was set awfully high.

It is an honor for me to write a recommendation for Amy Dixon. I am confident that our relationship with Amy, both personally and professionally, will only grow in the future; as with all her skills and successes.

Sincerely,

Amanda L. Vilnit

Dear Amy,

Thanks so much for all of your time, effort and patience in helping me to find my new home! Please feel free to give my name as a reference if it would be helpful.

As you know, when we met at one of your open houses, I was unfamiliar with Rhode Island and knew only that I wanted to live in a condo within about 20 miles of East Providence.

I was very fortunate to meet you since, as it turned out, I needed the help of a realtor with extreme patience, local knowledge, and willingness to put in a lot of work to show me most of Rhode Island before I even decided what town I was interested in! It was quite an educational process for me, as I never realized what a variety of wonderful options Rhode Island has to offer.

I tell anyone I know who's thinking of moving that they should contact you - and they're amazed to hear that you cheerfully spent over seven months showing me every possibility that might interest me, without losing patience even when I changed my mind (more than once!) about what I wanted.

Thanks again, and best wishes in your career. I know that you have the hard-working attitude, and the determination to find properties that will pleas your clients, to succeed no matter what the real estate market does.

Sincerely,

Therese A. Darmody

  To Whom It May Concern:

In June of 2006 we decided to sell our townhouse in Lincoln, RI as we had found and signed a purchase and sales on our dream house. Initially, my husband and I were considering selling our townhouse on our own without utilizing the services of a realtor but I had the pleasure of meeting Amy Dixon and she had experience working with both buyers and sellers so we decided to talk to her about potentially handling our sale.

We had our initial meeting with Amy at the end of June. After discussion with Amy we decided that it would be too time consuming to try to sell our house on our own as we both work full time demanding jobs and I was also 5 months pregnant at the time. It was extremely important to us that we have a realtor that would take care of everything for us and that was someone that we trusted to be in our house without us. Amy is one of the most reliable and trustworthy people that I know so that was not an issue. Amy listed our townhouse at the beginning of August and a mere two weeks later, we had an offer that we were very pleased with and that we accepted. Amy not only took care of the showings and open houses but she handled everything with the buyer's broker leading up to our closing; including the home inspection process which can sometimes be problematic. In this real estate market most people were shocked that we were able to sell our townhouse so quickly for the price that we wanted. I credit Amy completely for this accomplishment. I have no doubt in my mind that if I need a realtor in the future for a purchase or sale that I will retain Amy Dixon's services again. She made the whole process as easy and hassle free as possible which allowed us to focus on packing and moving.

I have no doubt that if you decide to retain Amy as your realtor that you will experience great results and thoroughly enjoy working with her; she is an amazing person.

Sincerely,

Brian and Heather Gauvin

Chris and Nancy Durst

Dear Amy,

Nancy and I wanted to reach out to you and express our sincere gratitude for the tireless effort you put forth in all aspects of the recent sale of our previous home, as well as the subsequent purchase of our new home. Even though you will claim to just have been "doing your job", there is zero doubt in my mind that if you had not put forth the painstaking effort in which you did, we would not have ended up with what we consider to be our dream home. Allow me to synopsize the events that led up to our home purchase to prove my point.

My wife and I initially began considering putting our home up for sale in the last summer of 2008. After our initial meeting with you in early Octover 2008, my wife and I felt comfortable with the advice you provided and the potential end result if we were to attempt to sell our home in Pawtucket, RI. After multiple open houses and many private showings, we were ecstatic to receive a fair offer that we accepted approximately three months after we first listed. We understand to get an offer close to the asking price, in that short amount of time, in today's market is extremely rare.

It further solidifies my belief that the home was marketed flawlessly. The way the house was presented on the internet was superb. The abundance of exposure the property recieved on an inordinate amout of websites was tremendous. All the way down to the warm, honest interaction any prospective buyer or broker received when they spoke with you. It all added up to a winning selling strategy.

Upon the quick completion of that deal, the search for our new home began. We admittedly had, what I had feared were unrealistic expectations when comparing what we were looking for versus what we were able to afford. Our criteria was so specific and demanding, I truly felt we would look for a while and then have to determine where we wanted to scale back; either on the type of house we desired or the price we were willing to pay.

Literally one week after we had closed, you brought us to a foreclosure in Attleboro, MA that on the surface seemed too good to be true. You readily warned us that dealing in the foreclosure/short sale market can be difficult for many reasons. The main reason being that you are delaing with a bank rather than the traditional seller. Before we even entered the property, my wife and I instantly fell in love with it. Without re-living all of the details of the transaction, I can unequivocally say that your advice regarding dealing with banks could not have been more accurate.

To re-visit my initial thought of the pivotal role you played in this transaction, I will remind you that there were a couple of critical points during the purchase process where our ability to obtain this house was up in the air. The way the bank chose tho handle certain situations really put this transaction in question. Your uncanny ability to coordinate the interaction between the many parties involved, along with all of the different personalities that went along with that, was an integral part in the sucdess of this process. That, coupled with the diligence you displayed in meeting all of the clerical deadlines required with such an involved purchase is what made this deal come to fruition.

I have attempted to be brief but, at the same time, I did not want to omit any details that I felt were essential in conveying an accurate portrayal of everything you have done for us during this process. For all intents and purposes, you have put us in a home where we know we can happily expand and raise our family for years to come. Our appreciation towards you and your efforts is incalculable.

Sincerely,

Chris and Nancy Durst

Matthew Bergeron

As a first time home-buyer I was nervous and concerned that I may be making the “wrong” decision. I was fortunate to meet Amy Dixon at an open house in Pawtucket while with a friend surveying perspective houses. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and warm “Hello.” A few days after attending, Amy proceeded with a follow up phone call to ask what I thought of the house, my impressions about it and most importantly how I was doing. This was the moment, because of her genuine demeanor; I knew she was the perfect agent for me. Amy and I spent over a month looking for the “perfect” house. Each time we visited a house she would make sure to ask any important questions that I might not have thought to ask. We would debrief outside with Amy giving any clarification of realestate agent lingo and provide her own concerns of potential problems. The word which best describes Amy as a realestate agent is compassion. Her continual search for the house that met my needs and fit my lifestyle enabled me to find the perfect home. Even after our agent/buyer relationship ended, Amy still continues to call and emails to check how I am doing and to make sure things are going well in the house. She is truly an agent anyone who wants to find the perfect house for you while having someone in your corner throughout the whole process. Feel free to contact me to discuss anything about my experience with Amy but rest assured you will not find another agent who will give the commitment Amy does.
